Misiones | CONICET Northeast summons companies to participate in the Forest-Industrial Technological Meeting 2024
On November 28, the city of Posadas will be the scenario of the Forest-Industrial Technological Meeting 2024 for companies in the region, an event organized by CONICET Northeast that aims to strengthen the relationship between science and companies in the sector of production and wood industry. The day will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Earth Auditorium without evil, in the Secretariat of Climate Change State.
On November 28, Posadas will house a meeting that seeks to strengthen ties between science and the forest-industrial sector. With the participation of Institutes of the Northeast Conicet, the event promises exhibitions and dialogue tables to promote knowledge exchange. The event is especially aimed at the private sector of the Forest-Industrial Value chain and will be attended by leading scientists and professional scientists of research institutes, including the Institute of Missions Materials (IMAM), the Institute of Subtropical Biology (IBS) and the Institute of Social and Human Studies (IESYH). All these institutes are part of the Conicet Northeast Technological Center. Expositions and Tables of Research Dialogolos will conduct short exhibitions, about 10 minutes each, focused on issues of particular interest to the forest-industrial sector. Subsequently, linking tables will be organized to promote direct dialogue between scientists and companies, thus allowing an enriching knowledge and experiences. The Argentine Forestry Association (AFoA) organizes the seminar «EUDR in Forest Products: Current status of implementation. The European Regulation on Deforestation-Free Products (EUDR) will enter into force on December 31, 2025 and will impose new requirements for forest products entering the European Union market.
