According to data from the Amazon Museum (MUSA), the Red Angelim stands out among the trees of the region by the reddish tone that takes its trunk when receiving the sunlight. The tallest tree in the Peruvian jungle of lupuna, scientifically called Ceiba Pentandra, is a representative species of the Peruvian Amazon.
