ExpoFerretera 2023 continues with all the industry news
Buenos Aires, November 2023. The second day of the International Exhibition of Items for Hardware Stores, Sanitary, Paint Stores and Construction Materials counted with a packed agenda of talks, conferences, product launches
The second day of ExpoFerretera 2023, which takes place until December 2, was
loaded with news. The future generations of the sector were present and the Expo
It was visited by groups from technical schools, future hardware store professionals,
paint shops and the like, which connected with industry leaders.
In a market in full digital transition, social media stars are a piece
key for the present and the future, that is why influencers in the field walked the halls of the
Costa Salguero Center. Among them, Marcos Etcheverry, hardware influencer from Ferretería
Etcheverry, special guest of the Expo, who was a speaker at the Talks Series of
CAFARA: “How to go from the traditional hardware store to being a reference on social networks”,
where he told his experience with social networks.
In tune, the Manager of CAFARA, Gabriela Goldaracena, gave a talk about the
steps to follow to start a digital hardware store, with all the tools
necessary technological technologies, such as ChatGPT, virtual stores, among others. Furthermore, she urged the
professionals in the sector to be encouraged to take the digital leap regardless of their age: “Today
the television paradigm does not work, audiences want people who are close and who
speak to them as equals, with whom they feel represented”, that is the profile that the
hardware store and the sector must adopt social networks.
Another attraction of the exhibition is the locksmith space, where the
Chamber of Locksmiths of Buenos Aires (CACEBA) and companies supplying
locks, padlocks, safes, cutters, keys, clamps, bolts and other products
of the branch, they exhibit the latest developments. Visitors can find security and
timeless tradition, which is integrated with cutting-edge technology that enhances it. Some of
the new features that can be found: fingerprint locks, remote management
with mobile applications, password with pattern, access controls, and connectivity
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
On a sunny day, the Patio Ferretero shined with demonstrations of the latest
in machinery. In this open-air sector, visitors can see firsthand
person the tools and their applications for making arrangements, modifications
and other productions, as well as participating in live demonstrations and training.
There are present: Daewo Maker's tolos, Duroll, Einhell, Gamma Tools, Hamilton,
Huqsvarna, Lusqtoff Argentina, Metabo, Mota, Nebraska, Niwa, and Paint Roller.
The Expo continues with the exhibition of new and current materials,
infrastructure, software, machinery and tools. Over the next few days,
