FAIMA will hold the 144th Argentine Timber Congress in Buenos Aires on December 1

About to celebrate its 90 years of history leading the wood industry, the Argentine Federation of the Wood and Related Industries (FAIMA) organizes the 144th Wood Congress on December 1, 2023, in Buenos Aires. The most important voices and protagonists linked to Argentine wood, the economy and the market will meet. A full day to debate, analyze the current political context and learn more about an industry that has the potential to drive the national economy.

In a second annual stage, and after this classic meeting was held in May in the province of Santiago del Estero, the Argentine Federation of the Timber and Related Industries (FAIMA) once again organizes the 144th Timber Congress. This time it will be on December 1, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hotel Ker San Telmo, at Avenida Paseo Colón 455, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

The most important voices and protagonists linked to Argentine wood will meet. A full day to debate, analyze and learn more about an industry that has the potential to drive the national economy. Topics of business management, sustainability, markets, artificial intelligence and technologies in the wood industry, wood construction, among other current economic topics will be addressed.

"FAIMA calls on the entire related industry to join its 144th Lumber Congress," they noted in a press release from the entity that represents 28 chambers throughout the country, of which the entire production chain composed of manufacturers and furniture sales businesses, producers of containers and pallets, floors and coverings, moldings, sawmills, general carpentry, manufacturers of openings, wood and pieces for construction, sheets, veneers, compensated wood, particle and fiber boards, pellets of wood, industrialized housing and many more wood manufactures.
