Paraguay: Partió a Europa el primer cargamento de muebles hechos con madera reforestada
El primer contenedor de muebles fabricados con madera reforestada partió este lunes rumbo al mercado europeo. Se trata del primer envío a España de un cargamento de muebles de jardín hechos totalmente de Eucalipto.
La firma responsable lleva casi 70 años en el mercado. El presidente de la empresa y a su vez titular de la Federación Paraguaya de Madereros (Fepama), destacó el hecho porque tradicionalmente Paraguay se caracteriza por exportar partes y piezas de madera y en este caso, se trata de un producto terminado, con valor agregado.
“Este primer envío es un logro muy importante no solo para la empresa sino para el país porque de esta manera se incentiva la reforestación, permitiendo una producción a escala, una producción sustentable y por sobre todo, se demuestra al mundo que Paraguay también es competitivo”, afirmó.
En cuanto al tipo de mercaderías a ser exportadas, indicó que se trata de muebles de jardín multiuso, que pueden ser montados y desmontados fácilmente en la casa, con lo cual se ahorra espacio y también el costo del flete.
